The bow section is now sealed in epoxi. This time it whitened out nicely. It still doesn't cover 100%, but it looks good enough.If you click on the image above you can see Adriana.
Look carefully, and you'll notice the small drainholes at the bottom of the picture below. Just in case some water fins its way into there.
I' ve bought a kitchen mixer, and it is helping me the epoxi resin. And it really makes a good difference. The titanium dioxide pigment works much better when thoroughly mixed into the resin.I've also bought new resin. I used Skuna 5100. It has a fairly short pot-life of around 15 minutes. That made me have to work quickly. The tight spaces, frequent-to-and-fro between hull-sections to mix resin, took a toll and made it hard, tiring work.
