Remembering the good times on my canoe Arara... It was good a fun sailing. And it cost me much less effort to build it. But, well, it was too small for two, to sail on. Good reason to skale up ... from 14 to 30 feet!
My brother Andreas took these pictures with his cellphone. It was a windy day, and I had a good sail. I also lost the hatch cover on the ama. Due to that mishap, the ama flooded. But as you see above, I could still sail safely home. Some 5 liters reserve buoyancy made of PET bottles made the trick.
