Meu limão meu limoeiro
Wilson Simonal was one of the first great artists of the Brazilian pop. On top of beeing a blessed musician and phantastic singer, he was an incredible entertainer, who mesmerized his audience with a contagiating charm and sense of humor. His live concerts were events of outstanding joy. People spent the whole time dancing and singing.
His career was marked with a tragic end. Accused of cooperating with the secret service of the Brazilian dictatorship, he was suddely banned by the artistic community and fell into a void.
He was also internationaly recognized, and sang a lovely duett with Sarah Vaughan.
And I couldn't leave this one out... Enjoy A hymn that all Brazilians know by heart!!!
