The Wooden Boat Magazine has picked the winner of its 3rd design challenge. The design brief called for a small, trailerable expedition sailboat, with overnighting capability for 2.The winner among 50 entrants is John Marples, with a nice trimaran called DC-3. I think it is a really smart design. If I weren't building my own already, I would consider building this one.
